How to Prepare Anti-Reflux Formula (differs from standard formula, this formula thickens in the bottle, not before)

This is a Food for Special Medical Purposes and should only be used under the guidance of a healthcare professional.

Step 1: Wash your hands thoroughly and sterilise all bottles, teats, and utensils before use.

Step 2: Boil fresh drinking water and let it cool to no less than 70°C (do not let it stand for more than 30 minutes). Pour the correct amount of water into the sterilised bottle

Step 3: Add the correct number of level scoops using the scoop provided — do not pack or heap the scoop. Refer to the feeding table on the pack for age-appropriate volumes (e.g. 1-2 weeks: 60ml water + 2 scoops, 7-8 feeds/day; 6+ months: 210ml water + 7 scoops, 4 feeds/day).

Step 4: Cap and shake well. Because this formula contains a natural thickener (locust bean gum), it will continue to thicken in the bottle after mixing — this is expected. Cool to feeding temperature under running water, always test the temperature before feeding, and feed immediately. A faster-flow or single-hole teat may be needed because of the thickened consistency.
